SINK VALLEY

For the 24th of July I took the girls up Cedar canyon to Orderville. My brother-in-law Kenley's family is from there. For the holiday they have a parade that goes past his grandpa's home. It is so small that it goes by twice and everyone throws arm fulls of candy at the crowd. After the parade they have a pioneer presentation, then lunch at the park with a giant slip and slide. The girls loved the slide and their cousins were great about helping them down.
Brittany helping Ava and Sarah sliding with Zoe.

After lunch we went up to the ranch at Sink Valley and rode 4-wheelers over the mountain.

After our ride we made a dutch oven dinner at the old ranch house.

We always enjoy any chance we get to go up there. It is such a beautiful place that has not been touched by time. We got to use the outhouse (yes, that provoked many questions from the 4 year old), and wash up in the house in an old wash pan with water from the spring. Thanks to the Brinkerhoffs for inviting us...can't wait to do it again next year.
