Tyler wants to make it a tradition to take the girls backpacking every summer. Last year he took Zoe to Bryce. This year he stayed a little closer to home and took Ava as well. 
We had a hard winter and a lot of trees were down on the path. The girls did great hiking and climbing over obstacles. They set up camp and cooked their backpacking meals.
The girls shared Tylers backpacking tent and Tyler slept in his bivy. It ended up raining all night, so he didnt get much sleep. It didnt seem to bother the girls though.
There is always an adventure to be had with Tyler.
