BENSON GRISTMILL

Last weekend while we were staying in Erda we visited the old Benson Gristmill. It seems that a few times a year we are lucky enough to be visiting while fun things going on there. It was a really great way to kick off the Christmas season with a visit with Santa.

The girls love spending time with the cousins.

There are many old homes around the mill. In this home they served up some hot chocolate and stories of the pioneers first Christmas after settling in the Tooele valley.

Before we left Grandma Knudsen treated all the kids to a horse drawn carriage ride around the grounds.

Looks like you had a great trip to Erda! Hey if your New Years Eve plans change and you are up we would love to have you to the party at the Varvel's house. Millie will most likely be coming and we will miss you. But, I do totally understand that the drive is an issue. Especially if you are going to be up the week before.
