While we were in California we were able to celebrate Zoe's 5th birthday. It was extra special because she shares her birthday with her uncle Matt. We started parting the night before her birthday with a dinner and cake. Zoe requested fire roasted hot dogs, pasta salad, and an ice cream cake.
We were hoping to run into some of the princesses during our visit. But, not a one! Can you believe it? It was a real bummer since I had been promising a least a glimpse of Cinderella, Belle, Snow White or Sleeping Beauty for days to get the girls pumped for our visit.

The girls had a great time despite the heat and long summer lines. Everyone at the park was really sweet to say happy birthday to Zoe. They gave her a special birthday button to wear, as well as a celebrating button for Ava.
These are the hats the girls picked. Ava wore her hat all the way home, and had to sleep with it and her button that night. We had a great time, but I think it will be a few years before Tyler and I have the energy to do it again.
We really appreciate Matt and Vikki letting us crash at their house for a week. Thanks for making Zoe's birthday great!

They hide the princesses back at their meet and greet area. The only way to see them is to wait in the LONG line or to pay to eat with them!!! If you ever go again I have a little secret that will cut your wait time from 1-2 hours to about 20 minutes.
It looks like you had a great trip! And Zoe had the best birthday ever!!
Happy Late Birthday to Zoe! Cant wait to see you guys!
Happy B-day Zoe, sounds like a fun trip (again)!
