Last week we headed to California to visit Tyler's brother Matt, hit the beach, Disneyland, and do a little sight seeing. Cabrillo National Monument was our first stop. We made it to the tide pools a little late, but still managed to see some crabs and other sea life.
When we got the parking lot near the beach Ava insisted on getting in her swim suit. As many of you know she is one strong willed child, and ended up getting her way even though we were not going swimming. At least she looked super cute.
The Old Point Loma Lighthouse has been safely guiding mariners into the harbor of San Diego since 1855. This is the first light house I have actually gone inside. It was really neat to see how the family that maintained it lived.

looks like you guys had tons of fun. your girls are darling. we were in california the end of may. i've just been really slow at posting. are you guys going to be up north around christmas at all?
