RACE DAY

We went to St. George on Saturday for Tyler's first race of the season.

At the line up...Ava kept trying to get to her Dad. She would clap and get so excited every time a goup left the starting line.
Zoe was cheering her dad on as he started the race.
There was a huge mound or “mountain” as Zoe called it of dirt. It was definitely the main attraction for all the kids. She had a great time until she got nailed in the forehead with a rock. Ava loved being outside. She would take off running any chance she got. Nothing like spending the day in the dirt!
Ava loves to torment her sister. She kept sitting on the side of Zoe’s chair until she tipped onto her. Zoe was actually being a pretty good sport about it.Yea...awards time! Tyler got 4th place this year. He decided that he will probably switch to expert (he currently races sport) at the next race because he still felt like going after the 2 laps. It's funny how as he gets older he wants to ride longer. When he started doing this race as a beginer it was only one lap...now he wants 3!
