Tyler has a list of mountains he wants to climb to the top of, and last Friday he knocked another off his list-Notch Peak. He woke up REALLY early to drive out to HIS trail head (I say that because he starts at the bottom of the mountain, not the usual trail head). He really had to make good time because he promised to make it back for our Halloween festivities. He TRULY is amazing!
Final numbers (round trip): 18 mile/3600' vertical gain bike; 4.3 mile 1500' hike. It took 4 hours to get to the top and about 6.5 hours round trip from the mouth of North Canyon. Check out Cedar and Sand for the full story and more pics.

Sam has talked about doing Notch peak like a million times. He and Tyler would have way too much fun together. Sam's problem is he always wants me to go and do things like that with him. He'd get a lot more done and make much better time without me.
